The Managed Services - Sales Lead is responsible to transform traditional AMC customers to managed services model offering proactive maintenance leading to higher revenue and profitability. Hunt for new AMC / Managed Services contracts and work with customer till closure. Ensure that Managed Services sales targets is achieved as per the business plan.
- Responsible to develop and execute a sales plan to convert existing customers under maintenance agreements to Managed Service.
- Develop and execute a sales plan for increasing the revenue from existing maintenance agreements and maintenance agreements from new customers.
- Meeting prospective clients and able to present and explain our services to establish a relationship.
- Making technical presentations for how our services meets client needs and work on after-sales support services and providing technical back up as required.
- Prepare and submit monthly reports including revenue, billing, account receivables for the maintenance agreements and Managed Services.
- Achieve consistent customer satisfaction ratings and respond appropriate to customer feedback on areas for improvement.
The Managed Services - Sales Lead will report to the Head of Technical Services, however, channels exists for direct communication with the General Manager - Digital Transformation & other members from the senior leadership team at weekly meetings or as and when required.
To be a successful in this role, you should have a bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification in engineering specialised in Computer Science / Electronics fields. MBA is an asset. Technical certification preferably from Alcatel – Lucent, Cisco, HP products is a mandate.
Minimum 3 to 5 years’ proven experience in infrastructure service company in a service delivery job role.Must have worked in IT services operation with core IT Infrastructure team working with system integrators company. Deep understanding of UAE market. Should be able to travel within UAE to ensure smooth prospect-to-customer transitions and long-term customer success.
The ideal candidate should have excellent account mapping skills. Must have the ability to manage time and work independently in a fast-paced environment; must be a self-starter, possess great organizational skills, and have good written and oral communication abilities; should have a solid understanding of managed services business and AMCs selling. Should be goal oriented and excellent hunting / closing skills along with a strong desire, commitment towards sales success. Solid leadership and people management skills & should be passionate about delivering exceptional services. Must have worked in managing the managed services operation with a core IT Infrastructure team working with within a sytem integrator business model. Well versed in dealing with business and technology stakeholders for a given domain. Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team. Strong written, verbal, interpersonal communication & presentation skills.
The Managed Services - Sales Lead will have to demonstrate excellent leadership qualities, be customer focused and be able to handle multiple and often conflicting priorities. It is essential the incumbent should have excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style. Excels at operating in a fast pace, community environment. Have the ability to look at situations from several points of view. Delegate responsibilities effectively. Excellent problem analytical skills and problem simulation. Should have a high comfort level working in a diverse environment. Open to direction and collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done. Manage cross-functional relationships effectively. Strong verbal and writing skills, with regards to contractual communication. People management skills & problem solving skills. Excellent managerial & administrative skills however at the same time hands on with day to day business operations. Detail oriented and good reporting skills. Establish clear lines of communication both internally & externally. Strong commercial expertise in driving business results.
