Operations Manager – Relocation

About the Job:

We are currently looking to recruit an Operations Manager – Relocation for Al-Futtaim Logistics. As Operations Manager, you will effectively manage, lead and grow the Relocation and CFS Department and its ‘operations activities and team members. You will ensure service levels to both internal and external customers are exceed expectations. You will develop Key Trade Lanes chosen by the business as part of business development strategy of organization and Key Trades in International Relocations by Country to Country Dialogue with FIDI agents in chosen corridors.

 

Specifically, you will be responsibilities will include the following:

• Manage & deliver the Gross Profit Budgets of Relocation Services Operation based in UAE Territory
• Management and review of all Relocation department process and procedures with a view to maximize efficiencies and productivity
• Management of operational process within operating platform EDI
• Develop and maintain high levels of staff morale and operational best practice.
• Establishment of internal and external SOP / SLA
• Creation and maintenance of operational KPI’S to measure performance and profitability of the business unit
• Group and non-group business development through selected Trade Lane/Partners
• Review and analysis of vendor service and pricing
• Periodical operations meeting with customers on Dashboard reports for Plan/Do/Check/Act
• Collaboration with other Departments within Freight & Relocations and also with other AFL verticals
• Recruit and Train new talents to Relocation Team as per the Country HR budget

 

About You:

The ideal candidate for this role should have the following qualifications, experience and skills:

• Business, Logistics or Supply Chain Degree qualified
• 3 years in International freight forwarding experience, specialized in people management related jobs and experienced in Relocation (Domestic and International Relocation) and CFS Operation.
• Fair understanding of all UAE import, export and Cross Border regulations is a must.
• Extrovert, people management
• Ability to lead, motivate and manage operational teams.
• High level customer service ability.
