Service Engineer – Warranty & Claims

About the Position:

Automotive Services UAE (ASU) is currently looking to recruit an experienced Service Engineer – Warranty & Claims to attend and clear all tyre and battery related complaints, warranty claims, tests & visits and coordinate with the principals on the same.

 

Reporting to the Product Manager, your key responsibilities are as follows:

• Check and judge all complaints and claims related to tyres and batteries
• Attend all warranty claim related complaints in UAE
• Prepare inspection reports based on the claim findings
• Coordinate with principals on the warranty claim, complaint related queries, approval, advice and suggestions
• Arrange principal visits on their trips to UAE
• Ensure all the tyres that have been passed under warranty (full/partial) is credited by the principal company.
• Adhere to QMS departmental SOPs
• Responsible for carrying out work with care ensuring not to endanger the life either of themselves or others by theirs acts or omissions whilst complying to health and safety requirements of the company and preventing any harm to the environment.

 

About You:

The ideal candidate for this role should be a University graduate or hold a Degree in BE (Automobile Engineer) or Diploma in Automobile. You should have a minimum of 3 years’ of experience on warranty and claims preferably in automotive tyre field.  Your knowledge about Tyres catalogues is a definite advantage! You should have a valid UAE driving license and Arabic speakers are preferred!
