Location: Nasr City
Job Description:
ØAssess requests for change that originate from incident management, problem management, release management, or continuity management.
Øvalidate and classify the change request according to its complexity defined in the Change catalogue
ØRegister changes as needed to handle requests for change or receives change requests from other change initiators
ØDetermine the risk and impact for requested changes
Øprepare implementation plans by creating tasks
ØImplement simple and standard change requests for IPVPN & Enterprise Telephony
ØFor complex changes liaise with correct entity to get the change implemented in agreed time as per SLA with Customer
ØMonitor the progress of changes.
ØMonitor and report quality of first time right, on-time change implementation
ØEnsure and monitor delivery of change implementation within agreed lead times
ØPerform the pre-checks before the change window time
ØGuide the field Engineer for all scheduled change activities
ØPerform the post-implementation review
ØCheck with the customer that his application is running with no problems.
ØSend success report to all involved entities after the completing the change
ØOnce the change process is completed, the entire process should bedocumented in a database (CMDB) that all stakeholders can access
ØManage Project and bulk change requests using standard process and procedures
ØAssess, prioritize, respond and report on time for expedite requests
Job Requirements:
Education:
ØDegree in telecommunication and/or computer sciences engineering field
ØCCNA is a must
ØCCNA Voice or CIPT certified person is preferable
ØITIL Foundation Knowledge
ØITIL Foundation Certified is preferred
Relevant Experience:
Ø1-3 years’ experience in telecommunications field
Ø1-2 year of – Experience in networking operational environment (IPT/VOIP/IP)
Ø1-3 years’ experience in a customer oriented position
Technical Knowledge/ Skills/ Training required:
ØExcellent Knowledge of networking technologies at layer 2 and layer 3 of the OSI Model
ØUnderstanding of networking technology LAN, WAN, UCC
ØCisco Call Manager Experience
ØUnderstanding of VOIP and IPT technology
ØWilling to work in 24×7 environment
ØGood interpersonal, communication skills
ØGood time management, and organizational skills
ØAbility to work under pressure to deal with multiple tasks
ØCustomer Oriented Attitude
ØAbility to work under pressure and multitasking
ØProactive and self-motivated
ØGood analytical and problem solving skills
ØTeam Spirit
ØFluent in both spoken and written English
