- Provide initial and recurrent training to Maintenance and Contract Maintenance personnel.
The terms and conditions of this position are covered by the International Association of Machinists (IAM) Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Provides detailed instruction to personnel on a variety of aircraft maintenance topics.

Develops new material and updates material as changes in the program occur.

Ensures course objectives and content reflect current aircraft maintenance procedures, techniques and standards.

Remain current on GPM policies and procedures.

Uses training methods which create effective learning environments for adult learners.
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

At least 3 years of maintenance experience with heavy/commercial jets

Willing to travel and work off-hour schedules periodically

Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel

Good working knowledge of GPM and SAFE systems preferred

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Effective organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Previous experience as an instructor preferred
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
- Must possess an A & P (Airframe and Power Plant) license
