Taking on each day knowing we're part of something remarkable. **YOUR ROLE** Role Summary The Communications Agent's primary focus is receiving, recording, and disseminating pertinent operational information to station and company personnel. Scope & Complexity This individual contributor will provide exceptional internal communication and customer service to flight crews, SOC, outstation, and other airline personnel. Key Duties - Create and maintain a strong culture of safety that incorporates "Ready, Safe, Go!" - Monitor all flights in progress for possible delays, weather, flight cancellations and other information to Seattle Station - Input arrival and departure information and coding delays into the SABRE computer system through Gatesheet - Monitor for and help resolve parking and gating issues - Load planning and pre-fueling functions including planning outbound cargo loads and calculating required fuel - Other duties as assigned Job-Specific Experience, Education & Skills Required - 1 year airline customer service experience - 1 year dispatching or scheduling experience will be considered in lieu of airline customer service experience - Strong diplomacy, problem solving, and teamwork skills - Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds - Ability to perform basic mathematics - Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment - Ability to provide quality internal customer service - Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays - High school diploma or equivalent - Minimum age of 18 - Authorization to work in the U.S. Preferred - Load planning and pre-fueling experience - Demonstrated knowledge of weather language and codes - Working knowledge of SABRE and IMAGE computer systems Job-Specific Leadership Expectations Embody our values to own safety, do the right thing, be kind-hearted, deliver performance, and be remarkable. **PAY** -$15.00 per hour -Medical, dental and vision benefits -6% 401k match -Monthly operational performance bonus (max $450 per quarter) -Annual performance bonus (target 5% annual earnings) -Generous paid time off -Flight perks on Horizon Air & Alaska Airlines **START YOUR NEW JOURNEY NOW** Submit your application by 07/28/2020 11:59pm (Pacific Time).
