MIS Manager- Trading Enterprises- Al-Futtaim Automotive
Job Purpose:
The role is responsible for managing, analyzing and interpreting aftersales business data and is central to the business developing its data strategy and nurturing the appropriate culture to drive automated, standardized & user friendly reporting and business intelligence. The role oversees the entire scope of business intelligence projects in coordination with internal and external stakeholders whilst also being the main point of reference for reporting and analysis for Aftersales
Job Description:
MIS Reporting & Master Data owner:
- Creation of various aftersales reports. Reports would be generally for all locations wise & also for all the brands. Provide recommendations based on report finding to improve operations, sales & profits.
- Managing the input of pricing data, discounts, making system DOA
- Support the creation of data capturing and data quality/consistency /granularity improvement projects
Driver of data analytics and BI innovation and interpretation of data:
- Lead solutions for all of the Trading Enterprises data needs
- Support business in Analytical requirements such as Budgets, incentives and other business initiatives
- Conduct comprehensive analyses of business opportunities based on historic data modelling and predictive algorithms; propose business development projects
- Review and establish trackable KPIs, identify correlation/causality relationships, present and support the execution of A/B testing ideas and provide continuous feedback on performance to the business units
- Manage the full scope of business intelligence projects, turning data into actionable insights for the relevant aftersales business functions collaborating with the counterpart in Sales to ensure alignment and cohesion
- Support brands in establishing their data strategies
Drive digital systems and technology transformation - finding ways of automation:
- Develop reporting applications (utilizing different BI tools), create dashboards, automate data pulls to enable ease of access to data for the business
- Evaluate digital project proposals from back-end/data perspective, and consult the business internally as a subject matter expert
Company digital skills development & MIS People Management:
- Contribute to the creation of a data driven work culture
- Develop SAP & BI tool skills of Managers at locations to prepare KPI’s to monitor and improve performance
- Identify the best and innovative working practices being used in the workshops and ensure “Roll out “across all locations.
- Help desk to all SAP & BI tool users & resolve their system related problems
- Conduct SAP & BI tool user training to all new staff & provided refresher course whenever the need arises.
- Leadership of MIS Executives including their engagement and continuous development to enable cutting edge approach
- Assign individual objectives for employee performance management purposes, manage performance, empower staff, and provide formal and informal feedback in order to support professional development and maximize performance
Alignment of business with Group and Principals:
- Engage and liaise with group to bring best practice and implement group directives where needed
- Interface with Principal IT Systems
- Support central IT by overviewing the ETL process (Extract, Transform and Load) from various sources in the Trading Enterprises business
Education, Experience & Skills:
Education: BA degree in Actuarial Sciences, Statistics, Computer Science or any relevant field
Minimum Experience and Knowledge:
- This position requires business maturity and excellent analytical skills. Successful candidates generally have 6-8 years in developing and managing Business Intelligence projects, 3 years in a similar role.
- Experience in business transformation of Data Analytics, Management Information Systems (MIS) and Business Intelligence (BI) including user knowledge of appropriate tools for use including but not limited to SAP, Power BI, Tableau, Qualtrics
- Experience with multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and ensure high quality deliverables with attention to detail. Proven ability to develop, execute and manage entire the data strategy. Be able to guide colleagues inside and outside the data analytics discipline.
- Must have English fluency
- Ideally has experience working with automotive brands.

- Strong data analytical, evaluation and interpretation skills able to present complex data in business language to non-technical stakeholders
- Technical data skills including data modelling and creating algorithms
- Ability to analyse and interpret financial data, including P&L & good business acumen
- Stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate and interact with officials at all levels and to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
- Project Management with strong organization skills and ability to balance multiple demands and simultaneously manage several projects
