  • The role is a part of the Corporate Accounting organization. As an intern for the Corporate Controller team, you will be supporting the Accounting/SOX organization in DFW.
What you'll do

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
1.    Work with various departments to understand Airline accounting processes and data
2.    Perform data analysis to find patterns & abnormalities related to various processes
3.    Work with subject matter experts on identifying areas of improvement & streamlining business processes
4.    Performs basic accounting functions associated with the Corporate Accounting Process
5.    Performs a variety of other functions/ad-hoc projects as assigned by the immediate supervisor/manager to aid in the department's/company's achievement of goals and business objectives

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited university as an undergraduate or graduate student with interest in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or other quantitative discipline
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Experience with data querying, quantitative analysis, and data analytics
  • Strong work ethic, initiative & motivation
  • Self-organized
  • Flexible, creative & able to handle stress well
  • Able to work in a diverse & fast paced environment
  • Strong communication skills – written and oral
  • Team player
  • Skilled with Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
