Head of Wholesales | Al Futtaim Automotive Global Aftersales | Dubai

 

About the Position:

We are currently looking to recruit the Head of Wholesales for Al Futtaim Automotive Global Aftersales in the UAE. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible on strategic planning and maximizing sales for OEM and OES parts, Tyres & Batteries. You will be directing and coordinating business operations of internal divisions as well as driving and achieving the departments financials and profitability targets. You are also tasked to improve market share within UAE, but also in International.

 

Your key responsibilities are as follows:

  • Create sales strategy for Al-Futtaim Automotive B2B parts (OEM and OES), tyres and batteries division
  • Maximise the revenue potential from Al-Futtaim Automotive B2B operations to meet the Individual Brands Sales performance objectives.
  • Ensure that all divisions are managed in an efficient cost optimization model. 
  • Set operational KPIs measure internal effectiveness and efficiency. To determine if the department/division is achieving operational targets and working as a team.
  • Manage positive stakeholder relationships.
  • Ensure stakeholders P&L is positively maintained and sufficient margins as per objectives are met.
  • Focus on driving performance through the Dealer network, Government and Corporate Channels.
  • Planning of annual budgets for Al-Futtaim Automotive B2B Parts, Tyres and Battery Division, ensuring achievement of annual budget and profits target set for the divisions together with the Product Management and Pricing teams
  • Participate in a variety of projects, groups and committees.
  • Deliver against our people strategy, maintain positive associate engagement.
  • Develop and implement long-term sales and operations strategic goals and objectives to meet business and growth objectives such as Dealer network strategy, New sales channels strategy, Marketing plans, Pricing plans and Enlarge Product portfolio together with the Product team.
  • Maintains a professional service by establishing and enforcing organization standards and Quality Standards
  • Ensure services and products offered are to the expected standards and optimize the way these products or services are delivered. Processes are as efficient and effective as possible and deliver the quality their customers expect.
  • Set Output KPIs that measure the success, quality and effectiveness of service delivery; specifically, whether agreed SLA standards are being achieved.

 

About You:

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a related field of study
  • Diploma or Degree Holder in Business Courses
  • 15 years in Automotive Industry, with at least 5 years at Senior Management level in Sales activities.
  • Expected to foster superior leadership skills, work well with the team, ability to work independently
  • Develop and monitor performance of Managers who are instrument in the achievement of goals/budgets.
  • Responsible to make major decisions, solve problems quickly and capable to resolve conflict-management.
  • Possess great business acumen to manage the business.
  • To work with all levels of management and have superior coaching and delegation abilities.
