Store Manager | Kiabi | Dubai

 

About the role:

As a Store Manager, you will be an ambassador of the Brand. You will be directly accountable for developing the business and monitoring your store’s operations and budget.

 

Key responsibilities:

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Team Management and Development

  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Develop the team to ensure they deliver the best service to every Client. Support them with consistent coaching, identify their development and training needs to tailor individual action plans
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Identify, recruit and develop talents, secure succession plans
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Organize the team in an efficient manner according to business needs and delegate responsibility
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Set achievable yet challenging team and individual targets for the store; assess, monitor and manage performance to ensure these goals are achieved
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Manage and motivate the team to drive the business : create a positive work environment, empower the team, encourage innovative solutions
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Lead by example on selling and act as a role model

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Client and Business Development

  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Lead and develop the business of the store, by cultivating a comprehensive and strategic understanding of it
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Maximize the potential of all product categories and universes carried in the store, capitalizing on all available support (visual merchandising, training, clienteling, events, country office team…)
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Build a loyal Clientele, leveraging all clienteling tools
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Establish a Client-centric mindset in store to ensure the highest level of customer experience
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Be the voice of the store in your country by understanding business and local market to suggest actions and recommendations
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Act as an ambassador in your local market, by proactively representing the Brand in relevant local activities (networking, PR)
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Be aware of the competitive landscape and market trends

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Operation & Administration

  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Ensure policies, standards and internal control procedures are communicated and implemented
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Monitor store controllable expenses, supervise loss, asset protection and risk management and be accountable for inventory management
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Liaising with mall management, store documentation as appropriate (daily reports, banking, refunds, exchanges, etc)  

 

About the person:

  • Bachelor or Master degree would be a plus
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Min 3 to 5 years of experience in retail and team management
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Good knowledge of the fashion/beauty industry and trends
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Retail operational skills (stock, VM, systems, cash…)
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Computer skills
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Customer service and results oriented
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Leadership and problem solving skills
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Excellent relationship skills
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Integrity and trust
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Dealing with ambiguity
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Proactive with good team spirit and able to take initiatives
