Lead Technician – Al Futtaim Automotive Aftersales

About the Position:

We are currently looking for an experienced Lead Technician to work for Automotive Aftersales in Dubai. As a Technician your main role is to provide reliable fault finding and produce accurate corrective repair to result in good productivity and satisfaction to the customer. You need to ensure that the assigned service jobs are executed in line with established work procedures, time and housekeeping standards & accurate reporting.

 

Specifically, you will be responsible to carry out level 1 & 2 repairs, plus all major services and diagnosis and usage of Special Tools. You are expected to help and assist your co-workers by advising diagnosis procedures and efficient/correct work procedures in ensuring quality repairs. You are expected to instill the core values of 5’s activities and the plan, do, check and action cycle, to improve process efficiency.

 

About You: 

The ideal candidate for this role should be a High School graduate or a Technical School graduate. You should have at least 2 years’ experience in reputable Tyre Workshop or Automotive Dealerships as a Tyre Mechanic or Auto Mechanic. You can perform tyre and battery services, alignments, minor repairs and diagnosis on mechanical repairs i.e. under chassis, electrical, air conditioning. You should be able to read, understand, speak and write English well enough to follow mandated trainings and standard instructions.
