Technician – Hino Trucks (x2)| Commercial Vehicles | Dubai

 

About the Position:

We are looking to recruit an experienced Truck Technicians to join our Al Futtaim Motors – Commercial Vehicle Division in Dubai. You will carry out pre-delivery inspection, basic services and minor repairs.  These jobs comprise major chunk of the service business and customers, thereby influencing market reputation.  You will ensure that work executed is safe, clean, efficient and as per recommend procedures.

Specifically, your responsibilities will include the following:

• Conducting mechanical repairs and periodic maintenance on Trucks
• Able to diagnose basic electrical and mechanical defects and capable of doing troubleshooting
• Follow diagnostic procedure on Service Manuals and undertake repairs within recommended labor time
• Usage of Special Service Tools including Intelligent Testers and Scan tools
• Provide Estimations of repairs & services
• Knowledge on line service schedules
• To be a team leader as and when required and guide co technicians
• Follow Dealer workshop standards and requirements
• Prepare technical reports on new complaints in coordination with Technical Support Executive
• Undertake Computer based Self learning and achieve Manufacturer certification

 

About You:

The ideal candidate for this role should possess a Trade Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical /Automobile Engineering. You should have at least a minimum of 2-3 years’ recent experience repairing and servicing trucks. You must have adequate knowledge in diagnosing, trouble shooting and electrical repair specifically on heavy vehicles. Candidates with valid UAE Manual license is highly preferred!
