​This job is a member of the AAdvantage Currency Strategy Team within the Marketing & Loyalty Division.  The Analyst is responsible for AAdvantage mileage redemption strategic and tactical initiatives for both flight and ancillary products.

What you'll do

• ​Analyzes the profitability performance of AAdvantage mileage products and forecasting short-term and long-term financial results
• Investigates competitor product offerings to assist in strategic decision making, new AAdvantage product design, or existing AAdvantage product enhancements
• Leverages route data, competitive data and customer data in order to design AAdvantage program enhancements that increase profitability and/or customer loyalty
• Collaborates with other departments to identify and implement strategies to optimize financial performance

All you'll need for success

 

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• ​Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training
• 3 years of work experience

 

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• ​Masters of Business Administration or equivalent work experience

 

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

• Ability to 1) analyze data; 2) build financial models; 3) forecast/budget; 4) create proposals/presentations
• Ability to be a self-starter who is able to execute multiple projects concurrently
• Ability to have a strong interpersonal, organizational, presentation and communication skills
• Knowledge of SQL
• Knowledge of AAdvantage program and related systems, such as Mosaic and Ventana
