Group Used Cars Development Manager
Job role:
- Responsible for monitoring and expanding all AFG used cars business activities in direct coordination with the brands, Hertz, Al-Futtaim Finance and Automall, by developing the proper used cars governance, strategies, car flow and reporting with a holistic AFG viewpoint.
- Also in charge of developing new, used cars channels locally and internationally, and act as PMO on Used Cars group related projects such as digital auction platform or used export channel.
- The role will also cover the expansion of Used Cars activities in Al-Futtaim’s international markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage the group Used Cars Dashboard and Carflow, as well as coordinate the “One Used Car Monthly meeting” with all stakeholders involved (Brands/ Hertz/ Automall)
- Lead the development of different Used Cars Financial and leasing products, together with the Brands and AFF
- Monitor and expand the Brands CPOV programs, including POS materials, standards and digital presence
- Increase overall trade in % in all brands and Automall through improving the overall appraisal and buying process
- Development of the digital auction platform and Used Cars export business through this digital tool and also other direct contacts
- Implement CPOV program in AFA international markets; develop reporting and share best practices, in coordination with the International team
Qualifications, Experience & Skills: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Minimum Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years of Automotive Used Cars industry know how both OEM level and retail
- Experience across multiple locations, sales teams & profit centers.
- Automotive experience in UAE/GCC markets is an advantage
- Previous experience working outside home country is an advantage
- Very good understanding of online & offline used car marketing
Job-Specific Skills:
- Strong levels of commercial awareness and acumen
- Strong Interpersonal skills
- A thorough understanding of the economic landscape in the UAE and export markets dynamics
- Ability to self manage & innovate
- Arabic speaking is an advantage
