Head of Digital Security Advisory (CONTRACT) | Enterprise IT | Dubai

 

About the Task

  • Provide input and guidance to the business and projects on security requirements for proposed solutions (Feasibility stage)
  • Create standard design patterns for technical solutions based on standards
  • Assess business and technical solutions against security design patterns, best practice and International Baselines (CIS)
  • Reviewing current system security measures and recommending and implementing enhancements and Changes
  • Review and improve the Security engagement model and governance with PMO, Enterprise Architecture and the Business
  • Manage a small team of Security Architects, overseeing work delivered, workload and administration
  • Knowledge in the implementation and adoption of Agile methods delivering Cloud Pod Org structure
  • Identify risks and threats within organisation's technical designs
  • Propose mitigation security controls against existing IT and Enterprise Risks
  • Hands on approach to providing guidance and support to the business
  • Self-starter with experience setting up and creating new processes for a Security Architecture function
  • Technical solution assessment and vendor evaluation including scoring and selection
  • Assess production readiness of new solutions against security recommendations
  • Understand information security and data governance processes, data loss prevention capabilities, cloud access security broker

 

Technical Skills:

  • Deep experience in Azure Cloud  security design and assessment
  • Experience with O365, Azure, EMS E5, Intune, MFA, SSO, Key Vault, PAM/PIM
  • Experienced in network design security, WAN, LAN Router, switch and VLAN, wireless security
  • Security Pattern creation and design
  • Deep knowledge of Agile way of working – Scrum/Kanban
  • Windows, UNIX and Linux operating systems
  • SAP, Salesforce, 
  • Risk assessment procedures, policy formation, role-based authorization methodologies,authentication technologies and security attack vectors.
  • A clear understanding of the following: ISO27001, NIST, CIS, COBIT, NESA, GDPR / Privacy  Compliance.
