About the Role

Al Futtaim Technologies is looking for a dynamic and experienced Managed Services Sales Manager who will play a pivotal role in defining the go-to market strategy and selling its Managed Services Offerings in the MENA region. The is part of Al Futtaim Technologies strategy to transition its business from the traditional AMC’s based business model to a pure play Managed Services Model.

 

The purpose of this role is to define and operationalize the go-to market strategy, define and execute the yearly sales plan and contribute directly to the success of the Managed Services Practice at Al Futtaim Technologies.

 

About the Responsibilities

Sales

  • Define, develop the go-to market strategy for Managed Services Offerings.
  • Develop a yearly sales plan with Managed Services goals and deliverables to be included in AFT’s overall Annual Sales Plan
  • Attain margin and revenue contribution targets for Managed Services across UAE, KSA and Qatar markets 
  • Develop and identify new Managed Services opportunities across the 3 markets, across all verticals.
  • Devise a sales strategy to up-sell and cross-sell Managed Services offerings to existing clients of Al Futtaim Technologies and Engineering.
  • Schedule, attend and manage sales interactions with customers
  • Develop, build, and report to the management on regular frequency on the appropriate leading indicators required to measure, track and forecast Managed Services growth

 

Customer Relations

  • Maintain a strong working relationship within the industry.
  • Proactively managing customer requirements taking into account factors such as manufacturing lead-times, product specification changes etc.
  • Preparing and showcasing the product presentations, attending client meetings and participation in exhibitions etc

 

Team Management

  • Identify and recruit top Managed Services talent for field sales and operational activities.
  • Develop and groom field sales team to highest level of proficiency in selling AFT’s managed services offerings and value proposition

Product Management

  • Assist our product managers in defining and creating new Managed Services offerings to capture additional market share.
  • Provide on-going feedback to Managed Services Practice Lead on aligning and refining Managed Services offerings as per the voice of customer and market intelligence.

 

About the Requirements

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:  

  • Bachelor’s degree or Masters in IT Field
  • MBA is a plus
  • Proven track record in developing and selling Infra, Application and Cloud Managed Services Offerings

 

Minimum Experience and Requirements:

  • 10+ years of professional IT experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in new business sales with proven track record in Managed Services
  • Strong Negotiator and should be able to articulate complex proposals verbally and in written.
  • Strong leadership, sales, coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to drive sales both directly and through subordinates.
  • Willing to travel extensively throughout UAE, KSA and Qatar
  • ITIL 3.0 or ITIL4.0 foundation
  • ITI 4.0 Strategist is a plus

 

Job-Specific Skills:

  • Experience in new business sales with proven track records
  • Long term experience in negotiating contracts on senior executive level.
  • Strong track record of pursuing and winning business in large enterprises
  • Strong expertise and network in UAE market
  • Experience in ICT infrastructure, Private Cloud solutions and application management.
  • Excellent relationship skills
  • Fluent English and Arabic language skills, both oral and written
  • Strong presentation skills
