  • ​This job is a member of the Benefits Operations Team within the People/HR Division.
  • Responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery and posting of payroll deductions for all Benefits plans.

What you'll do

  • ​Reviews benefits related payroll preview files for accuracy and approve payroll processing for all benefits deductions
  • Supports testing for payroll or HRIS system changes as they impact benefits deductions
  • Recommends process improvements to payroll validation process
  • Reviews and resolves payroll issues, identifies and executes/request pay adjustments, manual checks and special payments as they relate to benefits deductions
  • Represents the Benefits department during events at various locations such as Annual Enrollment meetings
  • Validates vendor files for annual enrollment
  • Participates in year-end payroll validations for benefits deductions
  • Works independently on special projects (both ongoing and specific initiatives)
  • Travel will be required to support testing, meetings with other departments and benefits roadshows
  • Must be willing to work some late nights and weekends to support special projects or initiatives

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • ​Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • ​Prior HR and/or Payroll systems support experience with strong HRIS and payroll systems user skills to support multiple benefits programs within the payroll and HR systems
  • Effective team player with the ability to collaborate, as well as work independently
  • Strong working knowledge of benefit plans
  • Knowledge of MS Access
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with interpreting and practically applying labor agreements in a payroll, HRIS or Benefits system or process a plus
  • Prior experience with HEC, SAP/SHARP, Employee Central and Alight a plus

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs to include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail with high attention to accuracy
  • Ability to demonstrate strong critical thinking skills with ability to analyze data
  • Ability to demonstrate strong organizational skills to handle multiple projects
