The Director, Division Finance oversees all aspects of the division operating and headcount planning process and coordinates budget and financial results with Corporate Finance, division senior management, and Corporate Accounting to ensure compliance with corporate financial guidelines, policies, and procedures. 

 

This Director position supports the CIO’s organization and oversees all financial aspects of Information Technology.  In addition, this team supports the product funding model, product taxonomy and technology investments across all business units.

What you'll do

  • Oversees financial planning and budgeting in an organization
  • Reports monthly financial performance and insights
  • Coordinates and prepares annual operating and headcount budgets
  • Provides analytical support for strategic and financial initiatives and drives technology investment insights and analysis across all business units
  • Facilitates prioritization decisions on strategic technology investments
  • Manages staff of financial analysts and managers

All you'll need for success

  • Demonstrates the highest standards of personal ethics and integrity
  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience/training; advanced degree (MBA) or advanced certification (CPA) preferred
  • 7 years of Finance or related leadership experience
  • Ability to influence through outstanding interpersonal skills and build collaborative relationships with, and consensus amongst, multiple stakeholders with varying points of view
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and serve as a role model for all Finance team members
  • Exceptional leadership, decision-making skills, problem solving, analytical, and critical thinking ability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to effectively and clearly communicate a strategic and tactical vision to all levels within the organization
  • Ability to explain financial and accounting concepts to non-financial audiences
  • Experience with budget tracking, variance reporting, and cost analysis, as well as developing and reporting performance metrics
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software products, such as Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint
