Online Merchandiser | ACE Hardware | Dubai
About the role:
Online Merchandiser will play a significant role in driving sales, optimize conversion and support the buying strategy through navigation and product discovery. Responsible for all tradable touch points on the site, from owning the taxonomy, visual merchandising of all category and designer pages, ensuring assortment for the category is always update and newness is added, to optimizing cross sell/upsell opportunities through product recommendations. Online Merchandiser will be responsible for achieving the sales and margin targets for their category. Individual needs to have a commercial mind, confident with analysing data and identifying ways to improve the customer journey, plus a strong understanding of NPS.
Key responsibilities:
- Responsible to achieve the Financial target & margin.
- Develop the trading strategy for his/her categories, in conjunction with the Category Manager/eCommerce Manager
- Monthly promotional planning and optimize the stock levels and availability
- Merchandising CRM digital campaigns catalogues and homepage pushes to deliver traffic and sales to the website.
- Liaise with buyers to ensure the accuracy of all aspects of product, including set up, pricing, categorisation, ranking. Improve existing product listings and drive new product launches
- Work with the Buying team to understand key areas of concern and ensure full product catalogue is available on site, and trouble shoot for any missing products/product issues.
- Daily review of their category, checking product information, mapping/categorisation & placement is correct and set out in a logical way to the customer – correct where necessary
- Competitor mapping for product range & prices.
About the person:
- 2 to 3 Years Ecommerce experience.
- Advanced knowledge of Ecommerce site merchandising
- Hands-on with CMS platforms
- Intermediate knowledge of google analytics or other web analytics tools
- Digital marketing & MS Excel
