The T&T Cloud and Engineering organization is looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer who would work with diverse DevOps automation efforts interfacing with multiple teams within the organization.
What you'll do

- Collaborates with leaders, business analysts, product owners, IT architects, technical leads and other developers, along with internal customers, to understand requirements and develop needs according to business requirements
- Maintains and enhances existing pricing applications in Revenue Planning and Technology organization
Troubleshoots and debugs complex issues; identifies and implements solutions - Researches and implements new technologies to enhance current processes, security, and performance
- Supports the development of coding standards and adheres to best practices and security guidelines
- Works closely with software architects and technical leads to ensure decisions meet long-term enterprise growth needs
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
- 2 years of experience in object-oriented software development and maintenance using Java and J2EE
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Knowledge or experience with cloud framework
- Experience with Neo4J, Spark and Scala
- Experience in IBM WAS Liberty, Web Development
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
- 1+ years of experience with Automation tools. Technical experience should include setup and implementation experience
- 1+ years of experience in Java and/or .net and/or scripting languages
- Working knowledge of Unix and Windows environments
- 1+ years of experience with development, troubleshooting and performance tuning
- Provide good understanding of concepts related application scaling concepts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, testing, and production environments
- The individual must be experienced in performing problem diagnostics
- Strong documentation and presentation skills
- Candidate must be a team player who works and communicates well with technical and non-technical resources.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and possess the ability to work with limited direction while being highly productive.
- Experience with automation – Infrastructure as code (CHEF, Puppet) tools or deployment automation scripting
- Working experience using Git in a continuous integration and continuous delivery environment.
- Cloud experience with Docker container and Kubernetes is a plus
- Experience in Agile methodologies, such as SCRUM
- Position requires rotational off-hours on-call support
