• The T&T Cloud and Engineering organization is looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer who would work with diverse DevOps automation efforts interfacing with multiple teams within the organization. 

What you'll do

• Collaborates with leaders, business analysts, product owners, IT architects, technical leads and other developers, along with internal customers, to understand requirements and develop needs according to business requirements
• Maintains and enhances existing pricing applications in Revenue Planning and Technology organization
  Troubleshoots and debugs complex issues; identifies and implements solutions
• Researches and implements new technologies to enhance current processes, security, and performance
• Supports the development of coding standards and adheres to best practices and security guidelines
• Works closely with software architects and technical leads to ensure decisions meet long-term enterprise growth needs

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
• 2 years of experience in object-oriented software development and maintenance using Java and J2EE

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Knowledge or experience with cloud framework
• Experience with Neo4J, Spark and Scala
• Experience in IBM WAS Liberty, Web Development

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

• 1+ years of experience with Automation tools. Technical experience should include setup and implementation experience 
• 1+ years of experience in Java and/or .net and/or scripting languages
• Working knowledge of Unix and Windows environments  
• 1+ years of experience with development, troubleshooting and performance tuning 
• Provide good understanding of concepts related application scaling concepts.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, testing, and production environments
• The individual must be experienced in performing problem diagnostics 
• Strong documentation and presentation skills
• Candidate must be a team player who works and communicates well with technical and non-technical resources.
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and possess the ability to work with limited direction while being highly productive.
• Experience with automation – Infrastructure as code (CHEF, Puppet) tools or deployment automation scripting
• Working experience using Git in a continuous integration and continuous delivery environment.
• Cloud experience with Docker container and Kubernetes is a plus 
• Experience in Agile methodologies, such as SCRUM
• Position requires rotational off-hours on-call support
