The Specialist, Talent Engagement and Employer Branding will be responsible for supporting American Airlines’ employment brand by focusing on channels such as career’s page and recruitment media (LinkedIn, Glassdoor, etc.) by delivering on content creation, referrals and candidate communications as well as events, strategic partnerships and relationship building in order to position American Airlines as an employer of choice. This position report directly into the Senior Specialist, Talent Engagement and Employer Branding.
What you'll do
- You’re a storytelling aficionado. Create written and visual content for American Airlines candidate portals, such as the careers site and employer brand social channels, as well as content that team members can use to amplify the American Airlines’ brand.
- Assist in identifying, building, and maintaining channels that directly funnel candidates through application workflows such as main career site and microsites.
- Improve both internal and external candidate’s experience with a focus on world-class experience for all candidates involved.
- Support the implementation of strategies focusing improving and protecting American Airlines’ employer reputation.
- Track and analyze the effectiveness of American Airlines talent attraction initiatives
- Ensure Talent Attraction initiative’s successes as well as identifying opportunities to implement new and creative avenues.
- Collaborate with business leaders, People Business Partners, Leadership Development, and other functions
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelor’s degree, ideally within a Business, Marketing or HR focus or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience working in Recruitment Marketing, Employment Branding or Marketing
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
- Comfortable and competent while working with senior leaders and working in cross-functional teams
- Extremely savvy with social media and content marketing
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Energetic, forward-thinking, creative, and able to challenge assumptions while providing a high-quality work product
- Flexible and comfortable with ambiguity, able to embrace change
- Collaborative and comfortable in client centric environment with a commitment to excellent service quality
- Passionate about the industry as well as the candidate experience
