ABOUT THE JOB 

 

ROLE PURPOSE:

 

To shoulder the responsibility for translation of English content, improvement and maintenance of content across all marketing channels to achieve our business goals. Mainly to manage the entire lifecycle of multiple translation projects in a fast-paced environment. Further, to collaborate with SEO guys to increase search relevancy; conducting keyword research, testing for relevance, optimizing content, generating meta tags, maintaining metadata, performing strategic link building and measuring/ reporting overall content effectiveness.

 

Description of the Tasks :

 

• Translate more general (site-wide) customer information such as FAQs, Product Descriptions, About Us, Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Help Pages, Projects Articles, News Letters and many more.
• Translate 2000-2500 words /20-25 SKUs per day (if working purely on translation).
• Work closely with both SEO and SEM guys to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented for the Arabic websites.
• Collaborate with English Content Writers, Visual Merchandizing Team, Marketing & Design Teams to develop & translate marketing spots
• Copy-write, translate and maintain Arabic content that speaks to various client-specific personas and market segments; creating a user-friendly experience for the reader.
• Deliver weekly reports on Arabic content for brand site & product content

ABOUT YOU 

 

PERSON SPECIFIC:

Education:

• English-Arabic Translation Diploma / Degree
• Bachelor’ Degree in Arts/ Languages 

Minimum Experience and Knowledge:  

• Tech Savvy and multi-tasking
• Hands on experience with MS Office
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
• Ability to work with teams within the brand, organization & outside 
• Good organizational and time-management skills.

 

Job-Specific/Technical Skills required to complete the tasks:

• Excellent writing skills in Arabic and English.   
• Familiarity with and knowledge of social media.
• Basic Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics.
