ROLE PURPOSE:

This role will play on integral part in defining the digital security landscape for the organization, provide oversight and validation of security control effectiveness for the Group Technology landscape. The candidate will be a distinguished security advisor consulting to various Business Units on various security architecture assignments. This person aligns strategic goals and objectives with decisions regarding security products and services; partners and suppliers; organization; capabilities; and covers security design for key business and IT initiatives. The primary focus is doing security analysis using standard frameworks link the overall security technology aspects of the enterprise together. The Enterprise Architect - Digital Security & TISO will work to develop an integrated security architecture view of the Al Futtaim Group using a repeatable approach, cohesive framework, and available industry standard techniques. Will contribute to the design and development of the overall Architecture Framework and Enterprise Target Architecture (ETA) in line with the Architecture Principles ensuring it supports Al-Futtaim Group’s EIT strategic direction.

 

KEY ROLE SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Design, build and implement enterprise-class security systems for a production environment
  • Align standards, frameworks and security with overall business and technology strategy
  • Identify and communicate current and emerging security threats 
  • Design security architecture elements to mitigate threats as they emerge
  • Create solutions that balance business requirements with information and cyber security requirements
  • Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements
  • Collaborate with a wide range of domain architects to develop secure architectures to protect AFG Business.
  • Identify and report internal control deficiencies and gaps. Validate remediation plans with the risk owner.
  • Prepare high level designs, patterns; support domain engineers with low level design and implementation
  • Support project managers, providing technical/security governance over projects
  • Conduct regular reviews to identify adherence or gap in information security implementation.
  • Create, maintain and regularly communicate Information Security Policies, Standards and Process.
  • Manage the organisation wide Information Security Awareness training.
  • Track, monitor, and report all internal control deficiency remediation progress.
  • Track the Risk Acceptance Form (RAF) process for Security-related exceptions to policies.              

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

 

Education:

  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent. Should also have one of the certifications CISSP, CCSK, CISA/CISM.

 

Minimum Experience and Knowledge:

  • 15+ of progressive experience in designing ICT security solutions in complex or sensitive environments
  • Knowledge on International Standards such as ISO27000, PCI-DSS, CSA, COBIT, Cyber Security standards, etc.
  • Hands on experience in architecting, designing security controls and performing audits on Microsoft Azure and other leading Cloud Platforms such as AWS etc.

 

Job-Specific Skills:

  • Experience in Information Security Architecture, Design, Engineering or technology as well as IT / Security risk
  • Experience leading large cyber transformations
  • Strong communication (both oral and written) skills and the ability to work in a team environment a must
  • Candidates must be able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of security frameworks, standards as well as security controls.
  • Experience in Application Security, Secure Coding and DevSecOps
  • Hands on experience in O365, Azure, Networks (SDN and traditional), OS Security, API, Container Security, IaaS and PaaS security, WAF/NGFW
  • Good understanding of PKI, Cryptography, Identity and Access Management Domain as well as tools
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
