Job Title:                             Professional Services Consultant – Custom solutions Development

JOB PURPOSE

The Software Engineer will be responsible for full stack application development. The software developers shall Analyse, Design, Build, test and deploy the software developed for Genesys Contact centre business of Al Futtaim Technologies Development will primarily using Genesys Pure Cloud APIs.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

In-house Development:

  • Perform In-house product testing, quality testing
  • Develop and plan internal add-ons and product development
  • Working with teammates in upgrading in house applications to current Microsoft technologies with additional features to meet dynamic business needs.

Project Delivery:

  • Ensure the committed time lines are met for the projects at customer sites within the agreed scope, cost, quality and timelines.
  • Continuously upgrade the skills by self-learning and on job training.
  • Assisting in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, and estimates.
  • Preparing reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software.
  • Participating in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code.
  • Package and support deployment of releases.
  • Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standard
  • Adhering to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget

Service Delivery:

  • Ensure Customer Satisfaction with the 24x7 Support
  • Analysing and resolving technical and application problems.

Project Quality Management:

  • Ensure the quality of all assigned projects executed/ achieved according to the quality standards defined by the project brief resulting in receipt of the Completion Certificate.

Administrative & Coordination Support:

  • Ensure excellent documentation management and day to day activities are undertaken to the required standards.
  • Assist with the preparation, coordination and updating of the business reports.
  • Provide a high collaboration level to support and assistance to other departments and senior managers whenever needed.

 

JOB CONTEXT

This position operates within the context of Application Development on Genesys Platform. The Software Engineer will be responsible for installation and maintenance of Genesys and Custom application on the latest Genesys contact centre solutions, working with Genesys API’s and services to build custom desktop components, third-party integrations, communications systems, notification platforms, real-time data transformations and mobile applications, provide support to entitled clients at the application level for custom developed solutions (applications and components) on as needed basis.

 

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

Qualifications and Knowledge: 

  • B.E/B.Tech/MCA or equivalent. Computer Science major preferred
  • Genesys Certified Professional – Platform SDK Certification
  • MCP, MCSD, Oracle certified Java developer Certification
  • Genesys PureCloud domain experience is advantageous
  • Working experience in Agile project is desirable

 

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in leading the solution delivery activity at customer site.
  • Minimum 4 years software development experience in C#, Java where an additional language such as Python, PHP is a benefit.
  • Design and develop software solutions leveraging Genesys products and services based on industry best Services/Project Delivery practices
  • Develop solutions using modern languages and Genesys SDKs/APIs on AWS, Windows, and Linux platforms

 

Technical Skills:

  • 5 years or more of commercial software development experience in Java, and C#.NET, JavaScript, Nodejs, ReactJS, mobile, and HTML/CSS. Includes a working knowledge of SQL and no-SQL databases
  • Must have Technical Angular 2.0+/Bootstrap/HTML 5
  • Must have hands on delivering Project with Angular 2.0+, Node js, C# and Spring.
  • Must have Technical hands on Spring Core, REST API, SOAP, AOP, Security, Integration
  • Prior hands on development experience required in Java, J2EE, Spring , Python, PHP & JavaScript
  • Must have Technical hands on to integrate REST services with UI.
  • Experience developing for and deploying on Linux operating environments
  • Good practical experience working with Genesys technologies. Experience developing software with integration to various customer environments/backend systems using Genesys APIs/SDKs is a BIG plus.
  • Experience with GIT, BitBucket, or similar source management including creating Pull Requests and Continuous integration methods
  • Work with CRM and case management technology integration such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, ZENDesk, Remedy, ServiceNow, ServiceDesk, Siebel or SAP
  • Strong technical background to the extent of being able to review code, unit test plans
