About the Role

We are currently looking for  a Technical Product Owner (TPO) in Enterprise Performance Management to work with the Business Leaders with strong Financial Planning and Consolidation background using SAP, Anaplan and various other technology solutions. The TPO will be responsible for the development of the IT Portfolio (EPM Roadmap) for each line of business, aligned with its strategic goals, and is the main contact person for all business planning and consolidation activities.

 

The TPO will also manage the technical aspects of the product development alongside the Product Owner/Manager acting as a bridge that connects business and development teams, grooming the requirements and providing technical assistance in the backlog ordering, creation and communication.

 

You will be responsible for Technical Solution Envisioning and Relationship Management by building a strong partnership with business unit leadership (Group & LOB Finance) and other key stakeholders to become fully integrated in decision-making and driving business strategic priorities, assist and advice the Product Owner on key technical decisions and contributes to the elaboration of the House of Quality (HoQ) / Product Backlog (Epic), work alongside Business Product Owner to define, manage and accept user stories, participate in RFx process and evaluates functional capabilities of vendors/solutions, evaluating the proposed solution to ensure business fitment, support development of business cases, operating model changes, solutions, business buy-in and integrate in planning and budgeting cycles and bring new thinking and innovation to the business

 

You will also be involved in Technical Solution Delivery by contributing to the solution definition and architecture development (including phase out plans) with the Principal Engineer, supporting the Sr. Program Manager and Scrum Master/Project Manager in the program/project plan definition, take part in sprint planning and clear all technical questions. You will support the Product Manager with the elaboration of the Product Backlog and be responsible for User Stories to meet DOR (definition of ready), in particular: Breakdown of User Stories, specifying the User Stories acceptance criteria, references to UX/UI, High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD), contribute to the improvement of the solution demand & delivery practices, procedures, methodologies and tools and prepare/contribute to the preparation of the Business Requirements Documents (BRD) in traditional projects

 

 

About the Requirements

Education: Degree in Computer Science/IT/Engineering/Science;

Minimum Experience and Knowledge: 

  • IT Experience of 5-7 years and Business Domain (Enterprise Performance Management) Experience of 3-5 years using various technology solutions.
  • Experience with working in SCRUM or Agile environments and in the conduction of Design Thinking sessions
  • Solid experience in SAP BPC
  • Strong knowledge of Financial and Legal Consolidation
  • Strong knowledge in business planning, budgeting and financial consolidation solutions from SAP, Anaplan (Model Builder L2) etc.
  • Knowledge on ETL processes using (SAP BW, Alteryx etc) and dashboarding tools (Tableau, PowerBI etc.) as added advantage.
  • EPM software (SAP BPC, SAC & Anaplan) development and support experience is required from a similar technology landscape and/or a large business group.
  • Work with finance systems to ensure the future state data model aligns with the existing finance systems and meets the needs of the business planning /actual requirements.
  • Strong process knowledge of multiple financial processes to include accounting, reporting, planning, budgeting and legal consolidation at various levels.
  • Work closely with finance business users and technology team members to support and build EPM solutions (SAP BPC, SAC and Anaplan) backlog across all businesses.
