• The Analyst/Sr Analyst, AAdvantage Currency Strategy is part of the Loyalty team and is responsible for designing strategies to drive brand preference and customer engagement using the program’s currency, AAdvantage miles.

What you'll do

Manage multiple projects to increase the utility and perceived value of AAdvantage miles for both current and prospective members

· Analyze transactional, behavioral, and identity data from multiple sources to evaluate strategic opportunities and inform decisions

· Produce business cases and onboard others through effective and data-validated narratives

· Collaborate extensively with stakeholders in Revenue Management, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Legal, IT, and third-party vendors to evaluate opportunities and implement strategic initiatives

· Evaluate and refine strategies over time to ensure continued relevancy and objective realization

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Economics, Finance or another relevant field

• 3 years of work experience

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Master of Business Administration

• Prior experience in loyalty marketing or product strategy

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

• Exceptional business acumen with firm grasp of marketing principles, economic concepts, and customer-focused mindset

• Knowledge of AAdvantage loyalty products and propositions as well as consumer alternatives

• Strong quantitative skills with demonstrated experience in data modeling and analysis using Microsoft Excel; SQL & Tableau knowledge preferred

• Effective organizational and project management skills with ability to manage multiple and shifting priorities

• Compelling written and oral communication skills capable of influencing others across levels of the organization
