  • ​This job is a member of the Hubs & Gateways Team within the Customer Experience Division.

  • ​Responsible for coordinating the activities of Operations and oversees the Operations Planners to effect daily on-time performance.

What you'll do

  • Supervises the Operational Planners who perform gate assignments, IRROP planning and coordination with local departments to achieve on-time performance for the station
  • Oversees the activities of AA employees who perform the movement of aircraft
  • Chairs daily shift briefings and prepares daily station tour reports
  • Monitors station arrival/departure dependability performance analyzing trends
  • Investigates and resolves all operational irregularities to ensure compliance to AA operating procedures
  • Codes Station delays
  • Communicates with all local operating departments as well as IOC, MOC, AA central loads and outside agencies pertaining to AA operational schedule
  • Performs other duties as requested

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • ​Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management field or equivalent experience/training
  • Operations Tower experience
  • Substantial experience in both RES and DECS

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • ​Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Ability to handle multiple concurrent assignments/projects
  • Skills in excellent leadership and teamwork with proven ability to work effectively in a variety of situations
  • Ability to be self-driven, highly motivated, creative and results-oriented
  • Ability to work well under pressure
