Job Purpose:

 

Al-Futtaim Logistics Automotive division has a mission of delivering the highest level of service, quality and efficiency to the region’s leading automotive retailers.

 

We are currently looking for Light Vehicle Driver to drive vehicles and trucks up to 3.0t at all AFL locations and throughout the UAE. Duties to include, but not limited to, port clearance, picking, binning, scanning and all quality related tasks.

 

About the Job:

 

  • As a Light Vehicle Driver your task is to move new vehicles from location to location, without damage and whilst adhering to all current company policies.  
  • Maintain a 100% damage-free record. Timely report of all accident or incidents involving company property to Operations Supervisor/ Operations Assistant.  Accurately maintain vehicle log books in accordance with company requirements.
  • Adhere to company Quality SOP for driving and handling new vehicles.  Ensure all new Q.C. Initiatives are implemented and followed at all times. 
  • Ensure you present yourself in the required uniform or PPE at all times.  Conduct yourself in an appropriate manner with both internal and external customers.
  • Scan and update the bin locations of all units using the RDT device.
  • Work as a team and follow the instructions of Senior Management, Operations Manager, Warehouse Supervisor and your direct line In-Charge
  • Washing/cleaning/fueling of new units; Scan and update the fuel date through the SMART Fill System.

 

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge: Matriculation passed, aged 25 years and above

Minimum Experience:  At least 2 years of experience in driving class 3 vehicles; with category 3 license

Job-Specific Skills: Knowledge of basic automotive maintenances and trouble-shooting procedures

Behavioral Competencies: Team work and Time Management skills
