- Responsible for engaging with our flight attendants as we design, develop, and deliver onboard menu design, service procedures, and tablet (FACET) functionality to drive improvements in the Flight Attendant and Customer experience.
- This job is a member of the Onboard Dining and Service team within the Flight Service Department.
What you'll do

Interacts closely with Flight Service, our Flight Attendant base leadership and internal stakeholders

Voice of the Flight Attendant as we look to design new menus, service procedures and technology and drive creative solutions to improve service

Partners with the owner of the Onboard Service Manual to collaborate on content related to policies and procedures for inflight catering

Works with internal stakeholders on testing any new menu footprints and procedures and capturing direct feedback from our flight attendants

Expect to travel up to 50% visiting our xx FA bases in the US and Latin America

Audits current Flight Attendant reports related to onboard service and find resolution within our internal process or catering failures

Investigates catering concerns and provides recommendations to leadership

Act as liaison for Onboard Dining and Service and manages the relationship with our Tablet team to help define strategy/roadmap and guide development of the flight attendant facing tools

Onboard Dining and Service plays an integral role as we start service or introduce new destinations

Collaborate across the organization to ensure service concerns are addressed and procedures are provided for our flight attendants to drive pride within the Flight Attendant role

Cross collaboration within Onboard Dining and Service to ensure future deliverables are seamless for our flight attendants and create an environment for

Manages or Onboard Service Tracker so the team is aligned on 30, 60, and 90 day deliverables
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/training
- 3 years of prior experience in airline Flight Service
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Experience in airline catering operations, aircraft galleys, or flight service
- Prior project management work experience a plus

Strong Interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across departments

Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all levels within the organization
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Publisher
- Strong communication skills with ability to effectively interact with both frontline Flight Attendants and leaders to report issues and recommendations for improvements
- Ability to be creative and analytical, with demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage workloads with changing priorities, limited direction and ease
- Ability to concisely present work to internal and external parties
- Ability to organize, lead, and plan projects
