- This job is a member of the Corporate Sales Programs & Strategy Team within the Sales Division.
- Responsible for serving as an internal consultant and trusted advisor to our Global Sales team. In this role, you will use data analysis, and market insights to consult directly with American's internal Corporate Sales Managers, Revenue Management & Alliances teams as well as all our Joint Business Partners.
What you'll do
- Make and support critical decisions related to winning, defending, and optimizing our corporate business and selling strategy
- Use customer segmentation, data analysis, and market insights to consult directly with Sales leaders
- Leads critical sales strategy projects to support corporate selling strategies
- Liaise with joint business partners in Europe and Asia Pacific to align and enhance joint offerings
- Serve as project manager for development of corporate strategies for all global joint business partners and domestic alliances
- Provide ongoing analytical support for internal stakeholders across the Sales, Revenue Management, Finance and Alliances teams
- Analyze and present findings/ recommendations to senior leaders on corporate program strategies
- Ongoing project support in MOSAIC, PRISM, Excel, PowerPoint and Tableau
- Collaborates with different teams across American including Finance, Revenue Analysis, Revenue Management, Alliances, Corporate Travel Programs, and Sales Support
- Travel required (up to 25%)
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Advanced Degree
- Previous experience in front-line sales, sales strategy, and/or quantitative modeling
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
- High level of initiative, collaboration and creative problem solving
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Knowledge of Airline Sales, Revenue Management, Alliances, or Network Planning is beneficial
- Knowledge of PRISM and SABRE is beneficial
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- High Level of initiative, collaboration and creative problem solving
