  • ​This job is a member of the Credit Union Team within the American Airlines Credit Union.
  • ​Responsible for providing cross functional support in the Mortgage Servicing department at American Airlines Credit Union.

What you'll do

  • Sets-up new loans in the FICS servicing system
  • Handles property tax/insurance policy issues and provides service to members' questions regarding their property tax or insurance policy
  • Tracks and logs legal documents related to mortgage processing
  • Prepares and images documents for record retention
  • Provides requested payoffs to member, loan officers, and other lenders
  • Reviews account information with members and requests corrections as necessary
  • Processes legal documents when mortgage is paid in full
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Ensures the security and confidentiality of all account and related information which is part of their work and for ensuring that his/her work is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous customer/member service

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • College degree in relevant field or equivalent relevant industry experience
  • Previous experience handling mortgages
  • Previous banking or Credit Union experience
  • Experience with Episys

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) gained through either work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the software
  • Ability to pass applicable American Airlines pre-hire compliance checks
  • Must have an acceptable credit history, which will be verified
  • Ability to demonstrate strong organizational and multi-tasking skills and capacity for attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively work with people of varying backgrounds and levels and securing inter- and intra-departmental and external cooperation
  • Ability to demonstrate above average interpersonal and communications skills & professional demeanor
  • Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines under high volume pressure
  • Ability to maintain satisfactory performance and attendance
