• Operation Strategy Alignment analysts have the exciting opportunity to be a part of a newly formed team responsible for ensuring alignment and execution on operational priorities by identifying and framing issues, driving decisions and monitoring implementation of solutions.
• This position is within the newly formed Operation Strategy Alignment team in the Operations Innovation & Delivery group but will support all Operations groups.

• Synthesize business problems, identify strategic options, define outcomes, and gain consensus among senior leadership on key Operations initiatives
• Connect the vision with the tangible pieces that enable its fulfillment
• Identify current and future opportunities, compiling and presenting cross-functional impacts, aligning and prioritizing with business owners, finance, and IT counterparts, and monitors the status outcomes
• Enable teams and leaders to connect the dots between the various initiatives within a larger plan
• Be the link between business and IT teams across organizations to bring about consistency and synergies on technology in-use and in development
• Ensure clarity of business requirements from stakeholders to enable proper planning and design of new initiatives
• Monitor and provide updates to senior leadership
• Gather information from internal and external sources, using various research methods
• Project manage transformational initiatives, building detailed project plans and dashboards, facilitating meetings and following up with key stakeholders
• Provide analytical support by reviewing data, drawing insights and presenting findings
• Develop and deliver presentations to leaders and working groups
• Manage ad hoc projects as required – ranging from small requests to multi-year projects
• Collaborate with internal customers to better understand their needs and be able to communicate them to others

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Bachelor's degree
• 3 years of experience in airline, consulting, or equivalent industries

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Graduate degree

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

• Analytical, strategic thinking, written, and verbal communication skills
• Problem solve and effectively deal with ambiguity
• Self-starter who solicits input from several sources
• Ability to prioritize and navigate projects among competing priorities, both within and outside one's own organization
• Collaborate across and outside organization at all levels
• Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Experience in consulting type role is a plus
