About the Role:

 

Job Context & Purpose:

Define organizational policy and other factors that have a critical impact on the job
Implement and adhere to agreed procurement policies and procedures to effectively and efficiently procure goods and services for internal stakeholders. Purchases must always be made at the right price, within budget, from the right source, at the right quality and the right quantity which will be delivered on time as agreed.

 

• Synchronize with Business Units across the Group for the supply of assigned category of spend.
• Provide the complete service interface between Customers/Requesting Divisions and Group  Procurement department and the suppliers through processing procurement of services and material in line with budget, time and quality standards to ensure overall satisfaction. 
• Perform pre-qualification process to update vendor’s database for reliable and capable suppliers and contractors.
• Ensure meeting time scale and deadlines for every procurement transaction and activity.
• Consolidated deals and contracts with major suppliers.
• Ensure procurement activities performed in compliance to the approved process.
• Accomplish cost savings through effective negotiation.

About You:

 

Education:

• Full time Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent 
• Any Procurement or Finance Certification is an added value

 

Minimum Experience and Knowledge:  

• Minimum 5 years experience in Procurement/ Supply Chain Management
• Understanding of Automotive related procurement like paints, oil & lubricants, parts and accessories is an advantage.

• Multi-tasking & Ability to work under pressure

 

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of handing procurement operations on ERP and/or a P2P platform is desirable
• Proficient in MS Office suites including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint .

 

Language Skills:

• Strong verbal and written English communication
• Arabic or any other languages are an added value

 

Job Specific Skills:

• Knowledge of procurement methods and procedures is a must.
• Knowledge in Incoterms standards is preferred
• Negotiations skills
• Stakeholder management skills
• Good analytical and Reporting skills
