ROLE PURPOSE:

To create, coordinate and deliver excellent implementation of all VM related projects, visual communication and promotional and seasonal launches in the  stores.

 

KEY ROLE SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Working closely with marketing team and store operations team to ensure seasonal promotional implementations are carried out on time and to the highest standard always.

Create Seasonal and Annual trend packs for the buying team.

Work closely with Marketing Manager and store teams to ensure all areas of merchandising, pricing and ticketing, instore POS and store displays follow brand guidelines.

Create, implement, and deliver a strong brand identity both instore and externally with all VM communication across all regions and stores.

Creating visual merchandising packs for all Primary campaigns to communicate visual guidelines including layout principles, visual POS communication and signage - usually applies to those based in a head office.

New Store openings

Visual merchandising point of contact between retail store development and support office for all VM related scope of works.

People Management

  • Work closely with HR Business Partner to develop tactics to recruit, onboard a new team to deliver business deliverables
  • Manage, empower and motivate the team to achieve business targets, manage costs and to strive for excellence in meeting their objectives.
  • Coaching and developing the team.

 

PERSON SPECIFIC:

Education:

Higher Diploma in Retail Display & Design, Interior Design or other retail visual merchandising qualification

Minimum Experience and Knowledge: 

Minimum of 5 years’ experience within a Home Furnishing or DIY, Lifestyle store environment.
