About the position:

 

• Maximize the sold hours from aftersales operations to meet the revenue performance objectives through the Technician target setting
• Ensure and monitor optimal capacity of resources in the technical team to deliver Total Quality Management
• Support the Reception Manager in the understanding of all carry over work to ensure on time delivery 
• Evaluate through performance management all direct reports to support the development and growth of all associates
• Identify areas of continuous improvement within the workshop operations to create a more efficient and safer workplace by supporting the Aftersales Manager to promote Kaizen culture
• Conduct daily meeting with the Technician, Quality Controller, Job Controller and drivers to align them on the targets and performance expectations
• Assign Technical advisors to support proper diagnosis of vehicle to ensure Fix it right (the first time) 
• Manage a team of job controllers to assign the correct jobs to the correct skilled technician to ensure efficiency, productivity and Fix it right (the first time)
• Ensure the accurate submission of field technical reports, repair support requests and technical information to the distributor to enhance product quality
• Manage warranty room as per distributor guidelines to reduce warranty rejection rate
• Conduct periodic onsite vehicle audits to ensure all vehicles are correctly accounted to ensure quality compliance
• Manage and maintain optimal tools and equipment’s inventory to avoid delays in delivery serviced vehicles on time
• Avoid repeat repairs by monitoring repeat repairs report and training technicians to avoid reoccurrence.
• Manage direct reports to comply with the Toyota Corporate Image standards
• Ensure 100% compliance with Standard Operating Procedures 

 

 

About you:

 

• Diploma in Automotive Engineering
•  3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Supervisor experience
• UAE valid driver’s license 
• Workshop planner experience 
• Proficient in SAP
• Proficient in Microsoft Office package
