JOB DETAILS: Showroom Sales Manager

Reports to:Sales Manager, BPD

Department:Building Products Division

Location: Abu Dhabi

 

JOB PURPOSE

The Showroom Sales Manager is responsible for:

  • Attending to walk-in customers at the showroom
  • Actively seeking out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media
  • The accurate completion of monthly management reports covering all activities
  • Following up on current leads, opportunities and key accounts

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Description of the Accountability

Sales Planning

  • Conducting market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
  • Actively seeking out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and given marketing strategies​​​​​​

Sales Target

  • Achieve Sales/Gross Margin Target set by the management on Monthly, Quarterly and Annual basis by activities mentioned below
  • Generating Sales Enquires on monthly basis so as to achieve Order booking strike rate of 15-20% of enquiry quoted every month based on assigned Sales Target
  • Generate business leads for upcoming projects by regular visits on daily basis to Key Developer/Consultant & MEP contractors

Customer Relation /Networking

  • Maintain good rapport with key clients, design Consultants
  • Interact and engage customer for information feedback related to competitor’s pricing/products proposed
  • Understand and analyze the customer needs

​​​​​​​Knowledge :

  • Maintain Comprehensive knowledge of Sanitary ware products, Market intelligence, industry trends and competition in the assigned territory​​​​​​​

Communication

  • Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
  • Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams

  • Comfortable in reaching out to potential customers to demonstrate AFET products and services
  • Managing Clients effectively and create good prospects
  • Reports for cross specification among various Sales Divisions.
  • Identify qualified prospects and leads.
  • Taking Self initiation
  • Dynamic, energetic and determined to generate Sales and meet the assigned Targets set by the Management
  • Organizing sales visits
  • Demonstrating and presenting products
  • Establishing new business
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports
  • Attending trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings
  • Reviewing sales performance
  • Negotiating contracts and packages
  • Aiming to achieve monthly or annual targets

​​​​​​​QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge: -

  • Bachelor Degree is preferable
  • High school degree at least

 

Minimum Experience:  

2-4 years minimum experience in Sanitary wares, with understanding and awareness of the regions construction industry is preferable but not necessary.

 

Job-Specific Skills:

  • Strong Numerical skills with Commercial awareness
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Building/ Construction materials experience
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations
  • Proven track reports in business unit growth.
  • Proven client database
