ROLE PURPOSE: 

To drive profitability in the Automotive network through provision of:
- timely, accurate management and performance information;
- insights and recommendations for business improvement; and
- operational meetings with brand teams and wider stakeholders.

 

KEY ROLE SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES: 

 

UAE Performance Reporting

•    Fully automate existing reporting by brand and location; extend to cover additional relevant financial and operational KPIs, and business units.
•    Design and implement a balanced scorecard to assess performance of locations across the Automotive division.
•    Ensure consistency across central reporting outputs.
International Performance Reporting

•    Collaborate with international colleagues to produce timely, consistent performance reporting.

Analysis and Feedback

•    Analyse key performance data to identify trends by brand that may reflect inaccuracies in reporting.
•    Resolve data inaccuracies.
Performance Reporting/ Insights

•    Produce monthly executive summaries for senior management highlighting performance trends, concerns, opportunities and focus areas.

Collaboration and Development

•    Chair “Knowledge Sharing Workshops” (KSWs) across all brands to instil best practice and efficiencies, and ensure sharing of best practice with the wider team and business.
•    Participate in Network Development and performance review meetings to encourage engagement.
•    Support the organisation to develop a culture of focus on actions relating to improvement in network profitability.
Profit Improvement

•    Work with management teams at selected locations to identify opportunities for operational changes that will drive financial improvement.
•    Instigate regular progress meetings to maintain focus.
•    Review, adjust and update action plans as necessary.
•    Report on engagement and impact of actions.

 

PERSON SPECIFIC:

Education:
•    Bachelor’s degree or other advanced analytical or finance degree preferred
•    Additional professional qualifications will be an advantage

Minimum Experience and Knowledge:
•    Minimum 5-year work experience in automotive
•    Operational understanding of automotive dealership processes
•    Project/ people management
•    Supplier/ customer management
•    UAE/ GCC experience is desirable 

Job-Specific/ Technical Skills required to complete the tasks:
•    Excellent analytical skills, with strong attention to detail, to identify key trends, connections and discrepancies within data
•    Focus on driving commercial results with measurable KPIs
•    Strong oral and written communication skills with proven ability to influence others and negotiate outcomes
•    Commercially aware
•    Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint
•    Comfortable with a range of analytics platforms such as Tableau, PowerBI and Qlik
•    Time management and prioritisation to multi-task in a high demand, fast-paced environment
•    Operate in ambiguous business situations
•    Build positive working relationships and collaborate with colleagues across the automotive value chain
•    Travel and conduct onsite visits
•    Cultural awareness
