What you'll do

  • Helps improve operational performance of the airline by reviewing/developing work cards and engineering orders while using quantitative techniques and models
  • Communicates effectively with stakeholders across the company and promote policy/data-driven decision making
  • Interfaces with operational departments to ensure coordinated planning, evaluation and implementation of decision support capabilities
  • Researches current AA Policies and Procedures and keep abreast of latest GPM and Manual revisions 
  • Technically advanced to work in various approval and tracking programs, as well as perform data entry 

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Airframe & Powerplants License 
  • Experience using data to explore and analyze work cards and engineering orders
  • Understanding of technical instruction related to aircraft maintenance
  • Understanding of the GPM as it relates to the Required Inspection Program, Confirmation Checks and Quality Standards 
  • Excellent interpersonal, relational, and communication skills (both oral and written) 

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Domain knowledge in the airline industry 
  • Thorough understanding of the Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM)
  • Understanding of the Request for Technical Change Program (RTCP)
  • Familiarity with technology and related data query tools 

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Knowledge of IBM Notes, TEAM’s, Microsoft Office, SQL, SharePoint etc.
  • Strong business acumen, technical learning/innovation mindset and a drive for results
  • Demonstrated ability to perform both independently and as a team member, handle multiple assignments and respond efficiently to changing priorities
