IT Support Technician | Deira International School | Dubai

 

 

About the Role:

To provide fast and useful technical assistance, answer queries on basic technical issues and offer advice to solve them.

 

 

Key Responsibilities.

  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware
  • Responding to queries on the phone, via email, in person, or through remote access.
  • Offering technical assistance on the delivery, configuration, set up, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer systems, hardware, and software.
  • Training computer users.
  • Training other staff on troubleshooting and diagnosing problems.
  • Gaining feedback from customers to improve training methods.
  • Writing and editing training manuals.
  • Running reports and analyzing common complaints and problems.
  • Diagnose hardware and software issues and walk customer through problem-solving process
  • Documenting and managing the IT helpdesk software system as directed by IT Manager
  • Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems
  • Supporting the IT manager on related IT customer focussed issues and IT support

 

About the Person:

  • Computer Science degree / diploma
  • Minimum 2-year experience in helpdesk or support
