The job is a member of the Products and Programs team within the EMEA Sales Division. You will coordinate and support the optimization and deal consultation processes as well as ongoing deal reviews for both, the Joint Business and the American Airlines rest of world agency programs and products in EMEA.

You will support the Products and Programs Lead in developing and analyzing agency tariff products and programs in EMEA points of sale including the coordination of approvals and implementation with Revenue Management, Sales Strategy, field Sales teams at both American Airlines and our Joint Business partners.

You will extensively engage with the HDQ American Airlines, British Airways and Iberia teams as well as the frontline and Customer Enablement sales teams and Joint Business Selling Portfolio Manager in EMEA at American Airlines and at our Joint Business partners on a day to day basis including the delivery of structured communication and presentations.
 

What you'll do

  • Coordinate and support agency program and product revenue optimization and deal consultation via business environment and data analysis
  • Ensure that both Joint Business and American Airlines only agency deal approvals and workflows are delivered in a timely manner
  • Update and manage information accurately on internal systems including Sales Hub and Teams and support portfolio assignments
  • Ensure a high level of focus on customer service and speed to market for the American Airlines and Joint Business partner field sales team through structured and proactive stakeholder engagement, training and through deal consultation
  • Implement agency off-tariff programs and products including project management and continual stakeholder engagement
  • Support the Products and Programs Lead with data analysis to help recommend new and evolved programs and products considering the business environment 
  • Understand the capabilities of fare filing and fare distribution across GDS, direct and Direct Connect platforms in different points of sale
  • Understand American Airlines and Joint Business partner distribution and online selling strategy
  • Develop strong relationships and coordination with the various HDQ Sales Strategy, aa.com, Customer Enablement American Airlines and Joint Business partners’ EMEA sales and revenue management teams
  • Communicate with and provide training and support for the field sales teams and Customer Enablement teams at American Airlines and Joint Business partners
  • Assist in any ad-hoc projects as needed by the Products and Programs Lead including administrative tasks

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Good commercial acumen
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, both verbal and written
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience in working with data in Excel/MS Access
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Good analytical skills
  • Be results orientated
  • Be self-motivated and able to take ownership of long-term projects and processes
     

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Consensus building skills
  • Experience working in cross-cultural and multi-point of sale environments 
  • Project coordination and/ or management skills
  • Understanding of the airline pricing and distribution structures and technologies
  • Experience in working with data to recommend change
  • Experience working with data systems and/ or CRM data
  • Spanish language skills
