Job Title

International Security Agent

General Objective of Position/Role

Is responsible for all security checks at the airside and non- airside.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

Conducts continuous baggage searches at the gate.
Check passenger documents.
Do area searches
Screen passengers at check-in and the departure gates and any other security functions as necessary.
Must be alert at all times and able to make responsible decisions.
Ensures the security of all AA passengers, crew and aircraft from terrorist attack and/or narcotics infiltration.
Cargo Security.
Responsible for overseeing all activities aboard the aircraft being conducted by non-AA employees.
Observes contract cleaning crew and catering personnel.
Ensures that non-AA personnel who enter a previously searched part of the aircraft are monitored by an Aircraft Observer
