Job Description:

Outreach and engagement responsibilities:

1. Generate a pool of instructors, trainees, volunteers, participants, and lab users, and keep records of their contacts and information.
2. Perform market research and survey of local community needs and available opportunities.
3. Work with lab coordinator to develop formal initiatives and partnerships and collaboration between Fablab and third parties.
4. Work with the Fablab coordinator to support the online presence and the social media pages for the Fablab to create a maximum outreach.
5. Announce schedules of activities and advertise documentation material of Fablab in all agreed upon channels (meetings, online, calls, visits..etc) to ensure maximum outreach.
6. Increase physical and online public engagement with the lab via distributing information about the conducted activities and services.
7. Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients.
8. Maintain a digital dialog with customers via agreed upon channels; emails, phones, social media, websites..etc.

Documentation and Administrative responsibilities:

9. Document activities through professional photographing and video shooting.
10. Print training/track certificates if needed.
11. Develop and maintain a filing system for lab purchasing, and activities.
12. Book travel arrangements.
13. Issue request for office and lab supplies.
14. Create, maintain and update full contact list of the clients’ numbers and allocates them whenever needed.
15. Carryout the training arrangements and logistics with related parties.
16. Collect registrations for the usage of the lab different services and confirm the registration.
17. Record volunteers and visitors attendance

Job Requirements:

Personal Skills

• Excellent organizational skills
• Very Good communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Very good at business writing and developing reports and proposals.
• Good relationship building and Good team player.
• Excellent command of English
• Excellent MS use skills

Technical Skills

• Business writing skills
• Very Good knowledge of digital marketing
• Knowledge of marketing and market research techniques
• Photoshop design
• 3-4 years of experience in mass communication, public relations
or similar responsibility.

Education

• Bachelor Degree in any discipline, preferably mass communication
