Job Requirements:

University degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
3-5 years of experience in statutory/ GAAP accounting / preferably in international business environment.
Experience in working with financial systems.
Deep expert knowledge of Statutory Accounting.
Deep knowledge of US GAAP / International Accounting Standards (for GAAP)
Fluency in English & Arabic.
Proficiency in MS office.
Experience of working in a multicultural teams and environment.
Team Player; ability to support and lead to achieve common goals.
Strong Communication and Presentation skills.
Problem solving: Proactive and resourceful in solving problems, offering innovative and practical solutions in dynamic environment.

Job Description:

Ensure that all AP entries are recorded with proper supporting documents.
Ensures compliance with corporate policies, government regulations and GAAP standards.
Ensures all accounting, Internal Controls are performed and evidence is maintained.
Support internal and external auditors through supplying them with all the required data, reports and documents during stat. audit.
Support in preparing AP CCM report of duplicate payments and required comments.
Reviewing all freight invoices accuracy and make sure that all receipts exist, customs clearance exist, all costs are accepted against contact with freight handlers. Check the calculated tax and determine if it recoverable or not.
Receive form 4 requests and follow up in all related review, communication and solve any issues with treasury and OTC.
Receive freight handler advance request from logistics team and ensure that local process maintained.
Issue manual payment to freight handlers after doing reconciliation between advances issued and invoices received.
Reconcile payment with freight handlers and open advances and any issues with freight invoices
Perform month end activities regarding customs and freight accruals and reconciliation, stock in transit calculations and entries, freight reconciliation
Prepare booking sheet to support Accenture team in booking freight invoices.
Support in monthly BS review related to freight suppliers’ activities.
