 Arabic Translation Team Leader at Nagwa

Location : Nasr City

Job Description:

  • Supervising, monitoring, and managing translators to ensure the quality of the translation
  • Maintaining the localization glossaries and style guides and keeping them up-to-date and audience-appropriate
  • Collaborating with content creation and product teams to ensure that language requirement are understood and supported, both from technical and linguistic perspectives
  • Allocating translation materials to team members according to their subject matter experience
  • Providing review and verification of translation work as required
  • Coaching the team members and holding training sessions to stay up-to-date with the latest translation techniques
  • Developing and measuring the individual skills of team members and creating a team structure that allows flexibility

Job Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in translation, linguistics, or any related field

Relevant Experience:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience

Technical Knowledge/ Skills/ Training required:

  • Experience in localization project management
  • Excellent command of Arabic and English
  • Fair knowledge of science and mathematics
  • Decision-making skills
