Sales Engineer ( Civil & Architecture ) at Hassan Allam Trading

Location : New Cairo

Job Description:

• Discover the most profitable suppliers and initiate business partnerships
• Negotiate with external vendors to secure the most advantageous terms
• Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services
• Finalize details of orders and deliveries
• Looking for new opportunities in the construction field
• Examine and re-evaluate existing contracts
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
• Collaborate with key persons to ensure the clarity of the specifications and expectation of the company
• Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients
• Anticipate unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies
• Perform risk management regarding supply contracts and agreements
• Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
• Make techno-commercial evaluation and preparation of comparative statements
• Generate POs for services and materials
• Track and expedite of shipment
• Handle delivery and inspection of items
• Keep updated with market developments
• Regularly train on company development programs
• Arrange and participate in meetings between suppliers and Company engineers and other personnel to facilitate standardization and economical procurement

• Competent planning and organizing skills.
• Good math abilities
• Being a leader
• Being able to work with a team
• Good decision making abilities
• Being able to work under pressure
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Good spoken and written communication
• Special attention to details
• Experience as a procurement engineer in contracting industry
• Good English written and spoken
• Knowledge of Middle East markets desirable
