Senior Software Engineer (Back-end) at Eventtus

Location: New Cairo

Job Requirements:

• Solid computer science foundation;
• 3+ of solid experience with Ruby, JavaScript and Go languages;
• Strong knowledge about Rails;
• Strong knowledge about GIT;
• Understanding of SQL and relational databases;
• Understanding of in memory databases;
• Knowledge about elasticsearch.
• Experience leading projects with multiple developers.

Job Description:

• Researching technologies and engineering complete solutions to problems.
• Proposing and implementing performance optimizations and scaling strategies for the APP to enable it to better serve thousands of users worldwide.
• Collaborating with a cross-functioning and self-organizing team (squads) to design and ship apps iteratively in an Agile environment
• Conducting code reviews for teammates to make sure it is aligned with our standards (Ruby style guide).
• Increasing code coverage by writing test cases to ensure highest quality of code.
• Contributing to the ongoing improvement of our systems and processes.
