Logistics Distribution Center Manager at Schneider Electric – UAE
Job Description:
- Responsible for bringing health, safety, security and environment into an interdependence culture, to make Dubai DC a great and safe place to work.
- Responsible for managing full operation of Dubai Distribution Center to ensure, we delight our customers and excel in our operations.
- Managing E2E Warehouse Operations, Local Adaptation, Methods & Maintenance, Customer satisfaction & Quality functions, including support functions like SERE, Finance, Human Resources.
- Define and fulfill the DC objectives and priorities, and to achieve targets through well-defined action plans and do regular reviews with department and functional managers.
- Deploy Schneider Production System (SPS) principles and best practices in all areas of the DC
- Responsible for transformation of customer digital experience on order and delivery, to delight our customers with an outstanding experience and to improve Customer’s Net Promoter Score.
- Responsible for fostering a high-performance culture, and care for the wellbeing of our team.
- Develop the DC in line with =S= Industrial Strategy and Smart DC concept and ensure strong collaboration between the DC and the different internal & external stakeholders.
Job Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor of Engineering (Industrial Engineer or equivalent) / Business, MBA is preferred
Relevant Experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Logistics and Warehouse operations, with at least 2 years’ experience at Senior / Middle Management level, managing the team.
Technical Knowledge/ Skills/ Training required:
- English – fluent required
- Urdu / Hindi / Arabic a plus
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Able to challenge and influence
