Overview

This role coordinates and conducts optimization and deal consultation as well as ongoing deal reviews for both joint business and AA rest of world agency programs and products in EMEA.

                

The role is responsible for the business development and analysis of agency tariff products and programs in EMEA points of sale including the coordination of approvals and implementation.  This role ensures that agency programs and products are both market and channel competitive through business analysis, projects and coordination with Revenue Management, Sales Strategy and field Sales at both AA and joint business partners.

 

The role extensively engages with the HDQ AA, BA and IB teams as well as the Sales team in EMEA at AA and at joint business partners on a day to day basis and through project management including the delivery of structured communication and presentations.

About The Job

  • To conduct agency program and product revenue optimization and deal consultation via business environment and data analysis
  • To manage both joint business and AA only agency deal approvals and workflows
  • To manage AA EMEA Account segmentation and portfolio assignments
  • To ensure a high level of focus on customer service and speed to market for the AA and joint business partner field sales team through structured and proactive stakeholder engagement, training and through deal consultation
  • To develop, implement and manage agency off-tariff programs and products including project management and continual stakeholder engagement
  • Recommend new and evolved programs and products through business environment and data review
  • To understand the capabilities of fare filing and fare distribution across GDS, direct and Direct Connect platforms in different points of sale
  • Understand AA and joint business partner distribution and online selling strategy
  • To develop strong relationships and coordination with the various HDQ  Sales Strategy, aa.com, AA and joint business partners’ EMEA sales and revenue management teams
  • To communicate with and provide training and support for the field sales teams at AA and joint business partners
  • To work on ad-hoc projects
