About The Job

This job is a member of the Corporate Affairs Division. Responsible for short term and long term directing as a building owner representative to the facility support vendor in regards to managing all Central Utility Plants
on Campus. Additionally, this role is a resource for reviewing and approving all MOP's associated to all major electrical work at the campus.

 

Specifically, you’ll do the following:

  • Supports FM System Infrastructures such as Metasys, Lutron, Helix, and multiple buildings system applications
  • Manages and directs maintenance work for 5 separate Central Utility Plants
  • Manages BRCC Maintenance & General Services
  • Develops/completes energy and budgetary reports
  • Interacts and presents to Senior Management Campus projects development and status, items related to CRE Master Plan
  • Required to work off shifts as needed to support any potential work impacting the operation

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/training
  • 2 years minimum managing a Central Utility Plant with 5tons or more chilling capacity
  • Effective with Blue Beam, CAD, MicroSoft Office Products (proficient with Word) 
  • Able to effectively manage multiple remote utility plants
  • The following are preferred:
    • Current Texas journeyman electrical license
    • Freon Recovery Certification
    • Current 70E OSHA qualified person certification
