Sr. Software Test Engineer at Visa

Job Description:

Design and develop test plans and functional test cases from business requirements and conceptual documents
Participate in Test design/plan review sessions with peers and other stakeholders
Execute test cases, analyze and report test results to project team
Build test automation framework to support CAS System
Build test tools to improve quality and performance
Setup, configure, and maintain test environments
Provide estimates on scope and scale of effort required to test changes
Ensure delivery of a high quality product meeting all requirements within the scheduled time frame
Collaborate closely with the development team to analyze, debug and resolve any application issues.

Job Requirements:

Education:

2 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

Relevant Experience:

3 or more years of work experience or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)

Experience with one or more testing frameworks, including but not limited to TestNG, JUnit, or NUnit
Experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages including but not limited to: C#, C/C++, Java, JavaScript or Go
Experience building and testing applications, RESTful services on a modern technology stack
3+ years software development and test experience.

Technical Knowledge/ Skills/ Training required:

Passion for high quality software design and engineering
Strong Unix/Windows skills, proficient with at least one shell and one high-level scripting language (bash, Python, Ruby)

Excellent verbal and written communication ability
Ability to work well within a globally distributed team, in a high performance organization.
